Our work combines polymer physics, molecular simulation, and machine learning. Current opportunities are listed below.
Undergraduate Researchers
Undergraduate students interested in joining the group can email a CV and academic transcript to shengli@mailbox.sc.edu. We can then chat about possible projects.
PhD Students
We expect to recruit two fully funded PhD students, starting in Spring or Fall 2027.
Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
Prior experience with machine learning (ML) or molecular dynamics (MD) is preferred. Scientific programming experience is also valuable.
Spring or Fall 2027 | Preferred deadline October 31, 2026
